The Great War: Kingsmen at the Front 1914-1918
Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of residents of the King's College, St Lucia, Brisbane. The collection consists of a 40 page article about the Kingsmen who served in the Australian Imperial Force during the First World War. Of the thirty Kingsmen who served during the First World War, eight were wounded and three were killed in action. Four men were decorated for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty, three receiving the Military Cross and one the Distinguished Service Order. The article includes biographical information about 19 of these men as well as information about the units with which they served.
