Studio portrait of 2934 Private George Bertram Lang. He initially embarked with the 55th Battalion in October 1916, and was transferred to the 19th Battalion in April 1917. He was killed in action on 3 May, 1917 on the first day of the Second Battle of Bullecourt. He is buried at the Queant Road Cemetery in Buissy, France.
