Attack on Calais (Ops 232)
Description
RAF Bomber Command operational film No. 232. Time 15.59 - 16.20. Height: 4,300ft. Heavy attack by 646 (27 of 460 Sqn RAAF) Lancasters of Bomber Command on Calais. Markers can be seen going down and bombing is "dead on". There is also a shot of Lancaster going down into the sea after being shot up over the target area. Film unit aircraft was piloted by Flight Lieutenant Buckham.
