Heavy bomber attack on Caumont (Ops 185)
Description
RAF Bomber Command operational film taken during 463 Squadron RAAF support of Allied ground operations in Normandy July 1944. Formation of Lancaster bombers on daylight raid. Tracking shot of an Avro Lancaster of No 463 Squadron RAAF. Bombs dropping on target area which is shrouded in bomb explosions. Incendaries are also scene being dropped. Shots at a lower altitude of bomb explosions and anti-aircraft artillery flak bursts. Flight over the Channel and medium shot of Lancaster of No 463 Sqn RAAF.
