Australian contingent at Romsey
Description
The 1st Australian Division Ammunition Park and the 1st Australian Motor Transport AASC march past with fixed bayonets at Romsey, England. Troops lined up and addressed by VIP who is standing in a motorcar. The men raise a cheer. These were the first AIF units to go into camp in England and were stationed at Romsey and Broadland Park from February 1915 until leaving for France in July 1915.
