Spirit of Anzac
Description
Shows AIF embarking aboard troopship in 1914. Anzac day 1929 at Parliament House Melbourne. Motorcade passes Parliament House. Commander in Chief General Sir John Monash leads his old troops. Victorian Governor Lord Somers leads the Imperial troops. Memorial service at the Cenotaph Sydney. Memorial service beside the grave of General William Throsby Bridges. The Stone of Remembrance is inaugurated on Anzac Day 1929 at the site of the future Australian War Memorial Canberra by the Governor General Baron Stonehaven of Ury (Sir John Lawerence Baird).
