Egyptian remount depot
Description
Opening title ' A remount depot on the Egyptian coast'. Opening scene shows a flag for the 44th Remounts. British remount troops training horses and mules. Includes drill and rough country work. Also shows Australians driving a loose mob of mules (this was probably a special demonstration as the British army always led and never drove loose stock). Australians only appear in a few of the scenes (Australian rough riders were sometimes loaned to British units) and nearly all troops are British.
