Camel train
Description
Loaded camel train heads into the desert from Gamli to Esani on the next stage of the supply lines progress, 1930. This is the second in a series of eight paintings accompanying the Palestine dioramas. The series illustrates the Egyptian Labour Corps and the Camel Transport Corps transporting supplies (food, water, clothing and medical supplies) from Deir el Belah on the Mediterranean coast of Palestine through the desert to the troops in battle.
