Acheron
Description
Section through 19th Century Acheron torpedo boat HMCS Acheron. The top image shows the deck plan of HMCS Acheron and the lower image shows the ship underway at sea. The torpedo spar was fitted at the stern of the vessel rather than at the bow which was radically different from other torpedo boats.
