A.I.F Embarking - Final roll call
Description
Final roll call of drivers prior to embarking on SS St Essylt at Port Tewfik. The last of the Motor Transport is being hoisted into its position on the force deck. This cargo vessel is interesting in that the top of the foremast has been removed and placed on the samson post off the centre line. With the vessel hull down at sea this would confuse the observer if he were trying to estimate the vessel's true course, Suez, Egypt.
