Forward decks, HMS "Chitral"
Description
The fore deck HMS "Chitral"has been altered, winches and derricks removed except those used for hoisting. Across the well deck a steel fore and aft bridge has been built, in its covered section are ammunition hoist from magazines in No.2 hold - these supply the two forward guns. On the focastle is a long RDF tower. Carly floats are stowed both in the focastle and in the well deck. Around the guns are shell racks and non skid bars, Indian Ocean.
