Description
Depicts an Arab beggar. Leyshon-White served at Gallipoli and several of his sketches were included in the ANZAC Book, which was created by CEW Bean from drawings, poems and stories from soldiers on the peninsula. He was evacuated from Gallipoli and was deployed to the Western Front, where he served for the remainder of the First World War.
