Flak 30 Anti Aircraft Gun Barrel

The 2 cm Flak 30 was the standard German light anti aircraft gun until the introduction of the 2 cm Flak 38 and the Flakvierling 38. It is recoil-operated, fed by 20-round magazine, and may be fired either full or semiautomatic. A combined flash hider and muzzle brake was used. The barrel slides in the body with the barrel extension. The barrel extension is slotted on the right and left sides for ejection and feed respectively. The body is formed to receive the barrel extension which is hinged near the end of the body. The barrel return spring, buffer spring, buffer rod and sleeve are housed in a casing secured to the receiver body at the rear. The gun is painted black.
