Description

Whilst attached to the RAAF in 1966-68, Dr Stewart-Thomson was involved with organising aeromedical evacuations of troops from Vietnam. He participated in the medevac of 48 serious casualties from Vung Tau after a sustained action in August 1966. This action later became known as the Battle of Long Tan.
