Portrait of 40064 Squadron Leader (Sqn Ldr) Kevin Harrold Walsh, RAAF and Agnes Mignon Barber on their wedding day at Our Lady Help of Christians, Folkestone, England. Sqn Ldr Walsh joined the RAAF on 15 July 1936 at the age of 20 and was serving with 139 Squadron RAF when he was the pilot of a Blenheim attacking shipping on a day mission off the coast of Belgium on 2 September 1941. The aircraft was hit by flak, caught fire and crashed into the sea. Sqn Ldr Walsh is buried in the Wenduine Community Cemetery, Belgium.
