Studio portrait of 1046 Trooper Archibald Lee Sweeting, 10th Light Horse Regiment. A lineman prior to enlisting on 15 February 1915, he embarked at Fremantle aboard HMAT Hororata (A20) on 26 April 1915. Tpr Sweeting joined his unit in Egypt, where he developed Bright's Disease, the early medical name for nephritis, and died 17 August 1916. He was 25 years of age.
