Studio portrait of Fred Agland (3454)
Description
Studio portrait of 3454 Private (Pte) Fred Agland. A warehouseman from Hamilton NSW, Pte Agland enlisted in November 1915 and embarked with the 19th Battalion, 8th Reinforcements, aboard HMAT Berrima (A35) on 12 December. Pte Agland was killed in action at Fleurbaix, France, on 14 November 1916. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France.
