Description
Informal group portrait of crew members of No. 460 Squadron in the snow outside their sleeping quarters. Left to right: 417307 Flight Sergeant Kenneth Leslie (Ken) King; Pilot Officer (PO) Alfred J (Alf) Collett RCAF; 417220 Sergeant Ronald Laing (Ron) Nicholson; Sergeant (Sgt) John Patrick Murray RAF; Sgt Antony (Tony) Fisher RAF and Sgt Walter Lynwood (Wal) Arksey RCAF. These men were killed during operations over France on 10 June 1944. Also killed during this operation was Sgt Charles Allan Cunningham RAF, who may have taken this photograph.
