A Japanese Blue Bar Cock Pigeon, captured at Tor River, near Wadke, on 26 May 1944 by the American 27th Command Engineers Battalion. On the identification ring is No 9456, English numerals, also Japanese figures. The pigeon is now in the possession of HQ 1 Australian Pigeon Section - Lae.
