Collection relating to the Second World War service of PA2706 Able Seaman David L Craker, RAN. The collection consists of an original four page letter dated 13 May 1942, written by Craker to a friend, Donald Beard. The letter is an interesting reflection on what it was like to travel away to join the RAN and experience recruit training.
