Outdoor portrait of 437963 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Alexander John Hunter, 82 Squadron RAAF. Flt Sgt Hunter was pilot of Mustang A68-762 which failed to return to its base at Labuan, Borneo, after a flight on 29 September 1945. It was presumed that the aircraft had crashed into the sea or jungle. No trace of the aircraft or pilot was found.
