Studio portrait of 14551 Sapper (Spr) Harold Sidney Holloway. A bank officer at the Bank of New South Wales prior to enlistment, Spr Holloway embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Vestalia (A44) on 11 July 1916 with the July 1916 Reinforcements of the Field Company Engineers. He served in France with the 13th Field Company Engineers and was killed in action in Hamel on 11 July 1918. He was 34 years old.
