Portrait of 414467 Flight Sergeant Daniel Joseph Clarke, RAAF. Daniel Clarke joined the RAAF in Brisbane 11 October 1941as a trainee pilot. He graduated from RAAF flying training schools in Australia and was posted to the United Kingdom where he was killed in a flying accident at 17 Advanaced Flying Unit, RAF, on 2 June 1943.
