Grave of QX17093 Lieutenant (Lt) Norman Percival Meggitt, 9th Division Ammunition Company, of Ashgrove, Qld. A commercial traveller prior to enlistment, Lt Meggitt was commissioned after completing the Potential Officers Course on 28 January 1941. He embarked from Sydney on 9 April 1941, and was killed in action in Egypt on 5 July 1941. He was buried at Tobruk War Cemetery. Image from the collection of NX11895 Donald Cooper.
