Patriotic souvenir postcard featuring a portrait of 298 Private (Pte) Leslie Trezise, 24th Battalion. An apprentice bicycle fitter prior to enlistment, he embarked with A Company from Melbourne aboard HMAT Euripides on 10 May 1915. While serving in France, Pte Trezise was killed in action on 14 March 1917, aged 20, and buried at Adanac Military Cemetery, France.
