Studio portrait of 5442 Private (Pte) Harold Patrick Joseph Roberson, 1st Battalion. A labourer from Jindabyne, NSW prior to enlistment, Pte Roberson embarked with the 17th Reinforcements from Sydney on HMAT Ceramic on 14 April 1916. Whilst serving in France he was killed in action on 9 April 1917, aged 21, and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial.
