Parade of mounted cadets from the Royal Military College (RMC). Taken at Capital Hill, Canberra during the official ceremony in which a foundation stone was laid by the Governor General Lord Thomas Denman. During the ceremony the name of new national capital was proclaimed by his wife Lady Gertrude Denman.
