Description

Informal portrait of 3791853 Signaller (Sig) William Keith (Bill) Clark, 110 Signals Squadron (110 Sqn). He is leaning on the sandbagged wall of a bunker located near the High Frequency radio hut in the north-east corner of the 110 Sqn camp at the 1st Australian Logistics and Support Group (1ALSG) base at Vung Tau. Behind Sig Clark can be seen a log-periodic antenna, probably aimed at Australia. The bright green sandbags were American issue and made of plastic, which was less durable than the Australian issue hessian sandbags.
