Description

Sketch on a leaf torn from a small sketchpad, depicting a Turkish deserter sitting cross-legged in profile. The artist indicates that he was cross-examined on board the SS Minnewaska. There are notations indicating that his coat is dark blue and the collar made of goat's hair.
