The grave of SX8290 Private (Pte) Carle Albert Reginald Sims, 2/48 Battalion, of Norwood SA. An ice vendor before enlisting on 8 July 1940, he was killed in action in Egypt on 22 July 1942, at the age of 35. He is buried in El Alamein War Cemetery.
