Studio portrait of 4319 Private (Pte) Emil Henry Janetzki, 1st Pioneer Battalion, of Murtoa, Vic. A labourer prior to enlistment, Pte Janetzki embarked with the 12th Reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Suevic on 21 June 1917. On 13 July 1918 he was killed in action in France, aged 22.
