Outdoor portrait of 204 Private (Pte) Benjamin Reid, 42nd Battalion, of Coraki, NSW. A farmer before enlisting, Pte Reid embarked from Sydney on HMAT Borda on 5 June 1916 with A Company. He died of wounds in France on 31 July 1917, at the age of 23.
