Description
"The 'Harefield/Anzac Bond': A study of thanksgiving and remembrance in an England village" by Dr Danny Dawson. Harefield Park, owned by an ex-patriot of New South Wales, was opened up for the use of convalescent Australian soldiers and it became known as No. 1 Auxiliary Hospital, Australian Imperial Forces. This manuscript describes the relationship between Australian soldiers and the village of Harefield.
