Description

Studio portrait of 280 Private (Pte) Albert James Braddish, 1 Bn, Australian Machine Gun Company. A plate-layer with the Victorian railway from Footscray, Pte Braddish enlisted on 5 April 1916, and embarked for service overseas with the 3rd Reinforcements, 2nd Machine Gun Company, on 4 May 1916. Pte Braddish died of a cerebral hemorrhage on 4 July 1919, aged 32.
