Informal group portrait of three troopers. The original caption reads “Troopers Charley Jones (killed in action Magdhaba Dec 23rd 1916), Radburn and Martin.” Trooper Jones is probably 1330 Trooper Charles David Frederick Jones, 10th Light Horse Regiment from Chidlows, Western Australia who was killed in action on 23 December 1916. Trooper Radburn is possibly 1731 Trooper Allen Livingstone Radbourne, 10th Light Horse Regiment from Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Trooper Martin is possibly 1340 Trooper William Clarence Martin, 10th Light Horse Regiment from Kelmscott, Western Australia. He was later awarded a Distinguished Conduct Medal with Bar.
