Description
Two unidentified infantrymen from 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), pause in a jungle clearing while on patrol in Phuoc Tuy Province during Operation Ingham. The soldier (left) is armed with a 5.56 mm M16A1 automatic rifle and may be a platoon leader. The soldier (right) is a signaller who is carrying a AN/PRC 25 wireless set on his back and holding a 9 mm L9A1 (Browning Hi Power) pistol in his right hand.
