Shrapnel shell Fragments : Villers Bretonneux
Description
Collection of shell fragments that are the result of a high explosive detonation. The fragments are in multiple shapes and and are made from cast steel and copper. The shrapnel consists of shrapnel balls, shell casing and copper driving bands. The fragments exhibit evidence of severe stress fractures and heat damage. No manufacturer markings visible.
