Description

During Operation Ingham, two unidentified Australian soldiers from 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), cautiously approach a hut containing bags of rice and food products intended for Viet Cong (VC) fighters of the D445 VC Battalion. The Australian troops thoroughly searched the camp, later burning it to the ground including the food. The vehicle to their right is an M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), which is a Troop Leader's vehicle of the 1st APC Squadron, Royal Australian Armoured Corps. It has the call sign two one (21) (stencilled to the front hull side) and the serial number 134171.
