Multiple strands of barbed wire also run between the branches.

History / Summary

These wire entaglements were part of the defences at Quinn's Post at Anzac. As the Australian and Turkish trenches were only five metres apart at some points, the post was the scene of many bitter bomb fights. This item was collected by the Australian Historical Mission from Quinn's Post in 1919.
