Description
Original grave marker of 2859 Trooper (Tpr) John Richard Boundey, 20th Reinforcements, 3rd Light Horse Regiment, of Tumby Bay, SA. A labourer prior to enlisting on 23 February 1916, he embarked from Adelaide aboard SS Walwa on 27 July 1916. Tpr Boundey was killed by a shell on 31 October 1917, in Palestine, aged 27 years. At the head of each grave a gum tree has been planted.
