Studio portrait of 2794 Private Stanley Ramage, 18th Battalion, of Gladesville, NSW. An elevator attendant prior to enlisting on 9 August 1915, he embarked from Sydney, NSW, aboard HMAT Euripides on 2 November 1915. He was killed in action in France on 28 July 1916, aged 28.
