Whilst serving at the RAN shore base HMAS Kuttabul, R55258 Leading Airman Photographer (LAPHOT) Richard John (Rick) Reynolds operates a Cameflex movie camera attached to the Gunnery Direction Control on an unidentified ship. The camera is used for gunnery analysis. LAPHOT Reynolds is a survivor of the sinking of HMAS Voyager (II) following a collision with HMAS Melbourne (II) on the night of 10 February 1964, during exercises off Jervis Bay, southern NSW.
