On the deck of the RAN aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne (II), unidentified crew members load a stretcher carrying an injured sailor from HMAS Voyager (II) onto a Westland Wessex helicopter, for transportation to a Sydney hospital. HMAS Voyager sank on the night of 10 February 1964, following a collision with the Melbourne during exercises off Jervis Bay, southern NSW. The disaster claimed the lives of 82 crew members of the Voyager.
