An M543, 5 ton wrecker, probably driven by 215546 Sapper David John Murphy, of the 1st Field Squadron Workshop, Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RAEME), towing a broken down Federal prime mover back to the RAEME depot at Nui Dat. Federal prime movers were first used by the Australian Army during the Second World War.
