Outdoor portrait of 2810 Pte Jonathan Stephens, 6th Reinforcements, 21st Battalion, of Ballarat East, Vic. 2810 Pte Stephens enlisted on 12 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Moldavia on 5 October 1915. On 24 February 1916 he was transferred to the 7th Battalion and was killed in action, in the field in France, on 25 July 1916.
