Studio portrait of 5348 Lance Corporal (LCpl) John Frederick Keith Comb, 17th Reinforcements, 1st Battalion, of Swan Hill, Vic. LCpl Comb enlisted on 7 December 1915 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Ceramic on 14 April 1916. He was killed in action on 1 March 1918, whilst serving with the 53rd Battalion at Wyteschaete, Belgium, aged 23 years. An uncropped version of this portrait is held as P08426.002 that was copied from the Rokewood Junction Honour Board.
