Floodlight Lamp Type B Ref. No. 5C/793 fitted with cover and angle poise fittings
Description
Floodlight Lamps which were manufactured according to standards set by the UK Air Ministry for installation in British aircraft from the Second World War until approximately 1960. The black plastic unit is fitted with a black metal cover containing a disc of red glass inset at the top. The angle poise fittings are black metal. 'AM Ref. No. 5C/753' is inscribed around the base of the lamp.

This item is part of standard electrical equipment used in British designed and constructed aircraft during the Second World War. This particular item was removed from an RAAF GAF Canberra bomber at Amberley in Queensland.
