Studio portrait of 423100 Aircraftman (later Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt)) John Charles Grant, 518 Squadron, RAAF, of St. Auburn, NSW. He was attached to 518 Squadron, RAF, based on Tiree in the Inner Hebrides. On 3 July 1944 he died as a result of an accident, he was 22 years old.
