Description
A convoy of casualties has arrived at the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) General Hospital in Kure, Japan, from Korea. Today the Red Cross organisation is getting to work. The men’s rations have to be issued, their personal problems discussed and dealt with, and library books must be distributed. Making plans for the day’s work are, from left to right: Miss June Thorpe of Geelong, VIC; Miss Cerita McCorquadale of Lower Woodend, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England; Superintendent Lorna Robinson from Australian; and Miss Beryl Conybear of Teignmouth, Devon, England.
