ATF-110-71: Bui Van Be
Description
English Translation:
Front: (Photograph; Chieu Hoi Symbols) Bui Van Be
Back: To C1 / D445
I am Bui Van Be, former PSDF member of Phuoc Thanh village, who was captured on the 22 December 1970, when they attacked Phuoc Thanh Village Office, and was sent to C1/D445.
I could not live with the VC because of hardship, hunger and thirst, and was frightened of death. On 10th April 1971, I rallied to Dat Do Sub Sector and was warmly welcomed by the GVN.
I call upon you who are still in the VC ranks to return to the national just cause so that you will not die needlessly.
(Signed) Bui Van Be 12/4/71
